William Shakespeare’s beloved comedy about love, mix-ups, and magic will be performed July 11th – 26th 2025 (8pm nightly, Wednesdays-Sundays.) Directed by Lizz Kd, with original music by Seth Faergolzia, and choreography by Elyssia Primus.
Actors should prepare a 1-2 minute classical or Shakespearean monologue. Actors may be asked to read an additional scene or monologue from the play, which will be distributed at the audition.
Some roles will be doubled. The entire cast will perform simple choreographed movement to music. Some roles will feature simple singing, dancing, music-making, clowning, or circus skills. No previous experience necessary, all types of performers are encouraged to audition! Many roles will feature intimacy or fight and movement choreography.
The ensemble will contain several roles for dancers (including some non-speaking dance tracks.) Additional dance auditions will be held Thursday April 24th from 6-9PM.
The characters are listed as non-gender specific. No role will be cast based on gender identity, but rather, actors will be cast with a gender-conscious consideration of the ensemble as a whole. Actors age 16 and up and all genders will be considered.
