Rochester Community Players is a registered participant in this year’s ROC the Day event taking place Tuesday, December 3 from 12:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. Important note: Gifts are only accepted during this timeframe.
Throughout its long existence, RCP has been a place where people interested in any aspect of putting on shows could learn, develop and polish theatrical talents and skills both on stage and behind the scenes as well as share their expertise and experience with others. Many people who first got involved in theatre with Rochester Community Players also went on to professional careers in theatre, movies or TV.
However, most RCP volunteers through the years have enjoyed working on shows as a way to be involved in a creative endeavor with people having similar interests and as an activity separate from their areas of employment or other commitments.
