Welcome to the Rochester Community Players.  We are the home organization for the Shakespeare Players of Rochester, the Irish Players of Rochester, and our regular RCP productions.  We are also a member of the Theatre Association of New York State, the Acting Irish International Theater Festival and the Shakespeare Theatre Association of America.

We have now completed our 2010 annual Summer Shakespeare at the Bowl production of Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Jean Ryon, and thanks to all those who participated.  Coming in July 2011 at the Bowl: Othello.  See our Shakespeare Players page for details as they become available, and our Audition page for Othello auditions in early 2011.

Movies at the Bowl:  RCP is a co-sponsor of the Thursday evening summertime family movies at the Highland Park Bowl, presented by the Monroe County Parks Department. Movies open Thursday, July 15 and run six weeks through August 19. The opening movie on July 15 is Monsters vs. Aliens.  For the full movie schedule, see our Movies at the Bowl page.

TheatreROCS at Geva October 25:  TheatreROCS, the association of Rochester Area theater companies, will be presenting its 2010 Fall Showcase on Monday October 25, starting at 7;00 PM.  RCP's Shakespeare Players will be participating, with a short scene from our Fall production of Macbeth. SAVE THE DATE!
