For 2010, movies will open Thursday evenings July 15 and run six weeks through August 19.
Movies start at dusk, which is around 9:00 PM in early July and around 8:40 by mid-August. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket, and remember it can be cool at the Bowl after sunset. Bug repellant is also recommended. Light refreshments will be provided by the Rochester Community Players. County's "Movies in the Parks" series will return for
the 2010 summer season. This year, the County Parks Department is partnering with New York State
SenatorJoe Robach, Highland Hospital, Toshiba Business Solutions and A/V
Solutions to bring residents 12 movies at Ontario Beach
and Highland Bowl.
"Monroe County is excited to once again feature the free 'Movies in the Parks' series," said County Executive Brooks. "These films give
residents the chance to experience big-screen motion pictures under the stars
in a pair of the County's finest parks."
Monroe County Parks also presents movies on Tuesday evenings at Ontario Beach Park. FYI, the 2010 schedule for Movies at the Beach is as follows:

August 17 - Clash of the Titans (2010 - Liam Neeson) - PG-13
